Rarely am I lost for words, but my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn proved the contrary.

Following a brief two-hour flight from London to Venice, filled with sheer excitement to explore the engineering wonder intertwined with pure romance, a lovely driver called Marco from the Hilton blessed us with a serene short ride to the hotel situated on mainland Venice.

Upon arriving, I was spoilt by the most pleasant staff who facilitated my check-in into sheer luxury. I was not only welcomed by champagne, colourful balloons, and chocolate strawberries (the only way to my heart), but a full body massage. Deep in thought, I lay there in utter satisfaction assured that my decision to collaborate with the Hilton would prove attractive to you all.

Special welcome upon arrival

Prior to dinner, I was churning to visit the bar, based on the ground floor of the hotel. The non-alcoholic cocktails were mouthwatering, but it was the decor that proved the most astonishing. The restaurant and bar was beaming with grandeur, sophistication and style. It is a popular place for business meetings, romantic settings and large gatherings. The Hilton makes special requirements for business meetings, so please do not hesitate to contact them before your visit.

8am means BUSINESS…I mean BREAKFAST! When it comes to food, you all know I am hugely captious, so when the Hilton got my breakfast PERFECT, it was very special. The extensive breakfast menu teased my taste buds as I desired everything, yet I, true to myself made my way through the menu during the week. Breakfast is from 7-10am everyday and while indulging, be sure to make your orders as extravagant as you want…they know how to deliver.

We all live for pool days. The Venetian style pool compelled me to soak in some Vitamin D days on end. What cemented my decision was the fact that I was endlessly spoilt by fresh juices and trays of perfectly cut fruits delivered from the pool bar. Once you’re there, try the Venetian fresh juice – once tasted, I assure you will order 10 before you leave.

Friendly, informed staff are all the more important during a short stay when you are churning to fit in all of Venice’s treasures into merely three days. Through my research as well as recommendations by staff members, I visited the Grand Canal, the city of Murano and Burano as well as some other tourist cites. I was stunned by Burano – a city famous for its lace work and brightly coloured homes. It’s a must see!

Convenience is always a make or break when travelling and the Hilton resonated just that. They provide a luxury concierge service and complimentary gondola tickets for all residents of the presidential rooms, providing the highest convenience and best service. With this, I immersed myself into the world’s most beautiful city (as voted by Readers’ Poll). The seduction proceeds.

As always, if you have any further questions about the hotel, please do not hesitate to email me.

I stand in confidence that you’ll love it!
