Luxury heels, an exclusive preview of the Rolls Royce Cullinan and amazing food at hot spot Ruya equates to a fab afternoon in London.
While her father created practical, affordable, sports shoes, Aruna Seth crafts luxury shoes in Italy that harmonise glamour and class, all of which champion comfort. Walking for more than 1 hour in my 120mm Piagalle Louboutins leave my feet hating me for two days minimum. Therefore, discovering a brand with as much emphasis on comfort as opulence, irrespective of the heel size was music to my ears. With the market shifting heavily to luxury sneakers with brands such as Gucci, Balenciaga and Prada being some of my favourites, luxury sneakers is the fashion industry’s fastest growing area. Rolls Royce’s truly has a fierce heritage in true luxury, and Seth celebrates a long successful partnership with the British Luxury Automobile maker. Yes, you’re probably wondering why this collab because were talking about shoes and cars..MILEEES APART – i get it, but a common denominator between both brands is that they both champion comfort as a feature that they simply will not compromise on. Therefore, the showcasing of the brand new Cullinan was exclusive, fresh and the perfect collaboration. Uncharted in luxury, the Cullinan pushes you to venture outside of your comfort zone in uncompromised luxury. What stood out to me was it’s palatial suite that compromises a number of elements that makes this machine nothing but a beautiful beast. A single push of a button unleashes two leather seats at the boot of the car. As if this wasn’t enough, a cocktail table graciously slides out in-between the seats, blessing you with hands down the finest seats in the world for what Rolls-Royce describes ‘breathtaking vistas or view a sports event or even watch their children take part in their school sports day…’ LUCKY EFFING KIDS.
Something else to add for all my boujee readers that do not want to sit with their dogs or Louis Vuitton Luggage bags, this is the only SUV that provides a separate passenger experience. In short, rest assured – the Cullinan’s rear cabin is free from luggage zones through partition glass, giving way to the most comfortable ride of your life with perfect sound insulation.
The afternoon began with drinks and networking in Ruya. It was refreshing meeting so many likeminded bloggers, celebrating one another’s success. Following, we had a scrumptious lunch which made way for photo shoots both outside in the Rolls Royce as well as inside Ruya, which was home to a beautiful flower wall amongst other features.
My favourite part of the luncheon was most definitely the catwalk, in which my sister Aneesa and other models slayed. Seeing the heels perfectly styled displayed to me how versatile each sneaker was…I’m excited to show you guys some shots in my very own.
